My friend Margie, from our local single parent adoption group, came home with her daughter Amity on 9/2/06! Margie was DTC 6/17/05 and LID 6/27/05. We've shared this incredible journey with Margie, the highs and the lows, the longer than expected wait (was 6 months, turned into 8 additional months), and finally the tears of joy arriving home at the airport. Dreams really do come true! Margie and Amity are proof!
